Guruvayur Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Lord Guruvayurappan. Hand-carved krishna in wood. The idol of Lord Krishna in the guruvayur temple was brought by Vayu deva and Brihaspati and was placed in Guruvayur. The name "Guruvayur" is a merge of both their names ("Guru" Brihaspati and "Vayu" deva).
